Liaison Officer
I have an honours degree in Science (Chemistry) and I am presently studying for an MA in Applied Social Research. Prior to joining Epi•Stem in 2008, I worked in the Chemistry undergraduate teaching laboratory and the Scanning Electron Microscope laboratory in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Previous to UL, I worked in research laboratories in the pharmaceuticals industry. My current research interest is in informal learning and gender, cultural and social influences on learning.
As Liaison Officer I collaborate with partners including schools, third level institutions, professional bodies and industry in developing partnerships in STEM education research projects.
