Graduated with a BSc [Ed] in 2001 and a PhD in Soil Biochemistry in 2006, both from UL.
Worked in Castletroy College, Co. Limerick as a Science and Maths teacher from 2005 up to May 2022. Currently on a career break and working as a University Teacher in The School of Education, UL where I teach undergraduate and PME students on general education modules and science pedagogy modules.
I have worked for several years with both The PDST (Maths, Science, Physics and Biology) and The SEC also.
I have co-authored two Junior Cycle Science textbooks with educate.ie
