Dr Nicolaas Blom is an Associate Professor in Educational Leadership at the University of Limerick. He also seves as the Course Director for the International Masters in Educational Leadership. Nicolaas has a keen interest in creative cognition within STEM subjects – especially within the context of real-world authentic design projects. Nicolaas has published his research in science, mathematics, technology and engineering education related journals. He is currently an associate editor for the African Journal of Research in Mathematics, Science and Technology Education.
