EPI•STEM, National Centre for STEM Education, School of Education, are hosting a STEM Colloquium with a team of Swedish academics lead by Dr Thomas Ginner, Senior adviser, Centre for School Technology Education (CETIS), Linkopings universitet. The STEM Colloquium will serve the purpose of collaboration under the themes of ‘An overview of the Irish school system’, ‘Technology education in Ireland’, and ‘The role of the cross curricular STEM, ICT and programming’. Key leaders from the University of Limerick will lead presentations and panel discussions. The STEM Colloquium will also facilitate specialist laboratory tours and a Second Level School visit.
The STEM Colloquium will take place on the 10th-12th October 2016, in the EPI•STEM lecture room.
