In October 2015, Professor Sibel Erduran has participated in the activities of the NARST Linking Science Educators’ Program funded project based at American University of Beirut, Lebanon with collaborators Professor Zoubeida Dagher of University of Delaware, USA, Dr Ebru Kaya of Bogazici University, Turkey and Professor Saouma Boujaude of American University of Beirut, Lebanon. The team conducted workshops on learning to teach scientific practices with about 150 participants including teachers from all levels, teacher trainers and officials from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The team also conducted an academic seminar entitled “From scientific inquiry to scientific practices: Redefining teaching and learning of science”.
