Mathematics for the Future Conference 2019

From August 4^th – 9^th 2019, the 15^th Mathematics Education for the Future Project conference was held in Maynooth, Co. Kildare. The theme for the conference was Theory and Practice: an Interface or a Great Divide? and the conference attracted both national and international academics. Dr Niamh O’Meara was on the Local Organising Committee for this conference and also presented her research at the event. She presented findings from a study she conducted with Dr Fiona Faulkner (Technological University Dublin) investigating the impact of pedagogical workshops on out-of-field teachers knowledge for teaching.
