HUMANISING EDUCATION CONFERENCE 11th June 2024

We are pleased to invite you to a one-day conference entitled “Humanising Education: from Competition to Care and Justice, in Theory and Practice” will take place in EPI•STEM National Centre for STEM Education, Room A1065 on Tuesday, 11th June 2024 from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

The “Humanising Education” Conference is organised by the Critical and Feminist Special Interest Group (SIG) of the EDUCATIONAL STUDIES ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND (ESAI).

This ESAI Special Interest Group is concerned with the direction of education in Ireland today. The SIG is answering UNESCO’s 2021 call for a new social contract in Education (and in STEM Education), and a reorientation from competition and individualism to care and justice, in theory and practice.
