PhD Student
I completed a Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Gaeilge in University College Cork, before returning to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Mathematics Teaching) in University of Limerick. I have taught Maths and Gaeilge in a post primary school before returning to work in the University of Limerick.
I am currently undertaking a PhD under the supervision of Dr Niamh O’Meara, Prof Paul Conway and Prof Merrilyn Goos. The research space I aim to address is “Numeracy teaching and learning at post-primary level in Ireland”.
My research interests include numeracy across the curriculum and continuous professional development for teachers in STEM disciplines.
