Dr. Donal Canty is an Associate Professor (A) in Initial Teacher Education and Deputy Head of the School of Education at the University of Limerick. He is qualified as a Post-Primary teacher and has eight years of classroom based teaching experience. He is currently lecturing in Subjects Pedagogics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the University of Limerick. Donal is a director of the Technology Education Research Group (TERG) and has collaborated on national and international research studies. He has also consulted with the Department of Education and Skills in Ireland in relation to curriculum design and assessment.
