Dr Liam Maquet

Liam Maquet is an Assistant Professor in Technology Education in the School of Education at the University of Limerick, Liam is also Course Director for LM095 (Bachelor of Education in Graphics, Engineering and Technology). His research focuses on spatial learning and the relationship between enhanced spatial skills and attainment in STEM, with a particular emphasis on technology education. Liam has conducted large-scale, school-based research in over 60 schools across Ireland and collaborates nationally on curriculum development and teacher professional learning. His work with Oide and as a member of the Technology Education Research Group (TERG) reflects his commitment to research-informed curriculum innovation in teaching and learning.
