Limerick Symposium on Nature of Science in Science Education

An international symposium was held at EPI-STEM from October 26-28, 2016 on the theme of nature of science in science education. There were participants from the USA, UK, Canada, Finland, Spain, Turkey, Israel as well as Ireland. The opening speech was given by Barry Slattery from NCCA outlining the importance of the nature of science theme in the new Irish Junior Cycle Science Specification.
